The Great Neck Music Conservatory

GNMC has been the premier music school on Long Island for more than forty years. It is the home and nurturing ground for many of the most talented music students from Long Island, Queens and beyond. Our distinguished and curated faculty consists of exceptional concert musicians who perform regularly in prestigious venues all over the world, and teach at Universities including Juilliard Pre-College, NYU, Manhattan School of Music, New School of Jazz and Yale University. They hold advanced degrees from the world’s leading Music Conservatories and are regularly seen with ensembles such as The New York Philharmonic, New York City Opera, and Jupiter Chamber Players.

Most importantly, they LOVE teaching.

The Great Neck Music Conservatory is committed to all students: adult beginners, very young children or aspiring professionals. Our advanced students perform every year at Carnegie Hall, and have summer opportunities to perform in Italy. They shine as leaders and soloists in student orchestras, operas, musicals and jazz or rock bands throughout Long Island, Queens and Manhattan. Our beginning students flourish rapidly in private lessons with our passionate faculty.

As a modern conservatory, our curriculum embraces all styles of music. In addition to private lessons, our course offerings include countless classes in all aspects of music, whether groups or solo exploration. Explore our classes page to find the right fit for you or your family.
